Description
Deutsch: Diese beidseitig bemalte Bahrfahne, die Jan von Werth mit Feldherrenstab und goldgestreifter Kürassier-Rüstung in Halbfigur zeigt, wurde von seinem Dragoner-Regiment gestiftet. Sie hing bei der feierlichen Beerdigung des Johann Reichsfreiherrn von Werth im September 1652 als Dekoration in der Schloßkirche von Benatek. Er hatte es aus kleinsten Verhältnissen zum Feldherrn und Reichsfreiherrn mit eigenem Schloß gebracht - das Motto Napoleons "vom Marschallstab im Tornister" vorwegnehmend.
