English: This image displays hillocks SW from Perseverance in the Séítah region of Jezero crater. On sol 89 they were captured in the series of panoramic images of the Mastcam-Z camera. Three days later, on sol 92 Perserverance obtained the larger image of the stratigraphic layers of this object with the SuperCam.
NASA’s Mars Perseverance rover acquired this image using its Right Mastcam-Z camera. Mastcam-Z is a pair of cameras located high on the rover’s mast. This image was acquired on May 21, 2021 (Sol 89) at the local mean solar time of 16:13:42. Azimuth 229° |
