A polder landscape with, left, a group of three boys, two seated on the ground, one of whom has his back to the spectator and is flying a kite; the third stands between them holding a kite, another boy is running past the group, also flying a kite with distinctive heraldic markings, (also visible on that on the left); from top to bottom, red, white and green stripes, with a red star on the white and a white star on the green; on the right yellow irises are in flower, on the top of one still in bud a huge green dragonfly has alighted. |
