[edit]
Description
Deutsch: Wappen der ehemaligen Stadt Kuressaare (Arensburg), Estland.
English: Coat of arms of the former city of Kuressaare, Estonia.
Eesti: Kuressaare linna vapp
Vapi kirjeldus
„sinisel kilbil hõbedased linnavärav aupaistega kotkaga.”
Selgitus
1563. aastal kinnitas hertsog Magnus Kuressaare linna vapi. Praegune linnavapp järgib ajaloolist linnavappi.
Vallavapp võeti kasutusele 1. juunil 1992 ja vallalipp. Linn liitus 2017. aastal Eesti omavalitsuste haldusreformi käigus kõigi Saaremaal asunud valdadega ühtseks Saaremaa vallaks.
Русский: Герб города Курессааре, Эстония.

This coat of arms image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.

It is recommended to name the SVG file “Kuressaare coatofarms.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.
