English: Louis Celeste Lecesne attended the international anti-slavery convention in London, England 1840. He was the subject of an important court case. Louis Celeste Lecesne' was the son of Charlotte and Louis Nicholas Lecesne.
His mother and father had arrived in Jamaica on 25 August, 1798. His date of birth was given as 30 August 1798 in Kingston, but ...
