The Munch Room. Sur le mur du fond, une oeuvre d'Edvard Munch (1863-1944) peinte en 1910 intitulée "Life". Elle représente la jeunesse et la vieillesse autour de l'arbre de la Vie. Les couleurs du mobilier sont le blanc et le bleu, les deux couleurs de la Norvège. Les dessins, tapis et les tissus garnissant le mobilier ont été conçus par Else Poulsson, Kjellaug Hollas et Ulrikke Muller Falck-Jorgensen et fabriqués en Norvège. Les meubles ont été conçus par un des architectes de l'hôtel de ville : Arnstein Arneberg. L'hôtel de ville (Rådhuset) d'Oslo a été inauguré en 1950. Il a été décoré par des artistes norvégiens de la première moitié de 20e siècle, avec des motifs tirés de l'histoire, de la culture et du monde de travail norvégiens.
