Summary
[edit]The factual accuracy of this map or the file name is disputed.
Reason: The regional languages of Italy and France are all grouped together, to the exception of Sardinian and Corsican, the latter being one of the few languages generally to be considered independent as opposed to a dialect which are little distinguishable from standard Italian, aside from its range being represented in an inaccurate faction, while only in Spain regional languages are shown. Occitan, Franco-Provençal, Aragonese, Asturian, Neapolitan, Sicilian and the Gallo-Italian languages are all missing. The Armenophone areas of de jure Azerbaijani territory, de facto governed by the unrecognized state of Nagorno-Karabakh, are also represented in an inaccurate faction, and the phenomenon of Irish language adoption in Dublin and its surroundings is also not represented. The ranges of Norwegian and Swedish do not accurately follow the border of Norway and Sweden, either. |
