Description
English: Male specimen of the Emerald Damselfly (Lestes sponsa), sitting on a stalk of rush (Eleocharis palustris).
Deutsch: Männchen der Gemeinen Binsenjungfer (Lestes sponsa), an einem Stängel der Sumpfbinse, Eleocharis palustris, sitzend. Bei Binsenjungfern werden die Flügel in Ruhestellung meist nicht an den Körper angelegt wie etwa bei Pechlibellen (Ischnura), bei Azurjungfern (Coenagrion) oder bei Becherjungfern (Enallagma; vgl. hier). Von der sehr ähnlichen Glänzenden Binsenjungfer (Lestes dryas) sind die Männchen dieser Art u. a. durch die gerade Stiftform der unteren Hinterleibsanhänge zu unterscheiden (bei maximaler Vergrößerung des Bildes erkennbar; vgl. dagegen die löffelförmigen inneren Cerci von L. dryas hier).
