Abdominal ultrasonography of a normal liver of a 31-year old man. It is in a sagittal plane in the midclavicular line, with the following measurements:

  • Maximum dimension
  • Cranio-caudal dimension
  • Ventro-dorsal dimension (depth)

These are useful in diagnosing hepatomegaly.
