Description
Mary with the Christ Child surrounded by four holy virgins. Saint Catherine (bottom left) is wearing a chest brooch in the shape of a wheel and a sword. Saint Cecilia (top left) is holding a book and wears a necklace with an organ-shaped pendant. Saint Barbara (top right), in red, holds a flower and wears a miniature tower on her necklace. Saint Ursula (bottom right), with braided hair, wears a necklace with heart and arrow. They are sitting in a enclosed courtyard, possibly of a monastery. Outside the enclosure, on the left, two men, possibly Saints John and James, are standing. On the right two women, probably Saint Mary Magdelene and Margaret.
