Description
English: Mars digital-image mosaic merged with color of the MC-1 quadrangle, Mare Boreum region of Mars. The central part is covered by a residual ice cap that is cut by spiral-patterned troughs exposing layered terrain. The cap is surrounded by broad flat plains and large dune fields. Latitude range 65 to 90, longitude range -180 to 180.
Ελληνικά: Η βόρεια πολική περιοχή του πλανήτη Άρη. Σύνθετη εικόνα φτιαγμένη από φωτογραφίες που πήρε η διαστημοσυσκευή Viking-1, σε τροχιά γύρω από τον Άρη. Διακρίνεται εύκολα το κάλυμμα πάγου του Βόρειου Πόλου. Η εικόνα καλύπτει πλάτος 65-90° και μήκος -180 έως 180°
Русский: Цифровое и изображение, составленное из мозаики в соответствии с цветами квадрангла MC-1, Великой Северной равнины. Центральная часть покрыта остаточной ледяной шапкой, которая прорезана спиральными узорами желобов, открывающих слои местности. Полярная шапка окружена широкими равнинами и большими полями дюн. Диапазон широт от 65° до 90°, диапазон долгот от -180° до 180°.
