November 1851, großherzoglich hessischer Fürstenstand als Prinzessin von Battenberg mit "Durchlaucht" Darmstadt 26. Dezember 1858 (beides für Julie geborene Gräfin Hauke (1825-1895), seit 1851 morganatische Gemahlin des Prinzen Alexander von Hessen und bei Rhein, und ihre Nachkommenschaft. Ablegung der hessischen Titel und Annahme des Namens Mountbatten durch königlich großbritische Verordnung 14. Juli 1917, für die in Großbritannien naturalisierten Mitglieder des Hauses; großbritische Verleihung der Titel Marquess of Milford Haven, Earl of Medina, Viscount Alderney 17. Juli 1917 (für Louis Mountbatten (1854-1921) bzw. Marquess of Carisbrooke, Earl of Berkhamsted, Viscount Launceston 18. Juli 1917 (für Alexander Albert Mountbatten (1886-1960); der Chef des Hauses Mountbatten trägt den englischen Wappenschild im oberen Teil seines Wappens aufgelegt.
