Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This scarp face is located at the upper end of the Klaus basin close to the lake Elisabeth (a private operated swimming lake). It consists out of concretionary horizons of glacial rubble (conglomerate) and has a height of 38 m and a length of approximately 200 m. It is one of the last remains where the typical valley configuration of a canyon along the Steyr river is visible. In the background there is the limestone quarry of Vöest Alpine (steelworks).
