[edit]DescriptionNew Hampshire Democratic Presidential Primary Election Results by Town, 2008.png |
English: A map of New Hampshire municipalities, color-coded to the results of the 2008 Democratic Party New Hampshire presidential primaries, which were held on January 8, 2008. After winning the Iowa caucuses a week earlier, Illinois senator Barack Obama was narrowly defeated by New York senator Hillary Clinton, clinching the most delegates in New Hampshire by winning municipalities in Manchester and Rochester. Obama won mostly in rural areas of the state, and managed to win the vote among people in Concord. John Edwards, who came second in the Iowa caucuses, saw a disappointing result, winning only two of the state's over 300 townships, while Bill Richardson won one township.
