Title
Română: Evreu cu gâscă - un evreu român care deține o petiție și o gâscă pentru dare de mită. Lucrarea, expusă la salonul din Paris în 1880, este una dintre cele mai importante ale pictorului. Este unul dintre tablourile de dimensiuni mari, în care pitorescul personajului se împleteşte cu caracterizarea psihologică. Dacă, de obicei, portretele lui Grigorescu sunt lucrate în tuşă lisă, de aceasta dată sunt folosite pete largi, distincte, astfel încât volumele sunt realizate fin în faţete. Semnat jos spre mijloc-stânga, cu roşu: „Grigorescu”.
