Description |
This plate depicts a street scene on the Boulevard Des Italiens. There is a woman depicted on horseback in a traditional dark riding habit, with a white collared shirt. The two men in the foreground are wearing redingotes which retain the fairly fitted waists of early styles. However, the collars are lower and adorned with a lapel. They both wear top-hats.
