Description
Français : Connu pour ses idées libérales, Mgr Sibour fut appelé au siège archiepiscopal de Paris en 1848. Il se rallia cependant à Napoléon III et en fut récompensé en étant nommé sénateur. Il fut poignardé, le 3 janvier 1857, par un prêtre interdit dans l’église de Saint-Etienne-du-Mont.
