| Description |
English: Panama Canal with workers carrying lead rope. The canal workers throw the rope to shipboard hands (or vice versa) then walk alongside carrying the rope ends, until they get up to the mules, where they will use the rope to feed through the cable that will carry the weight. A turntable used to move the mules is visible in the background. |
