Description |
English: Eduardo Paolozzi's Newton, bronze 1995.
Paolozzi's statue in the courtyard of the British Library in London, is not a direct representation of Isaac Newton but rather seeks to capture the idea that with Newton's equations and his laws of motion and gravity, the Universe became a more deterministic and measured place. The statue draws its inspiration from William Blake's Newton. |
