Description
Français : Dans une chambre, une jeune femme assise devant son piano-forte (un piano-table rectangulaire), désigne de la main droite une partition à une autre jeune femme portant un chapeau. Les auteurs du catalogue d'Artcurial identifie le tableau à une peinture présentée par Auzou au Salon de 1796 (no 10) : Deux jeunes femmes fesant [sic] de la musique. Cependant, une autre peinture d'Auzou, conservée au Santa Barbara Museum of Art, pourrait aussi parfaitement correspondre à cette description (Two Women Making Music), que le musée date aussi de 1796.
