Description
In 1892 Peder Mønsted was invited to take part in the trip to the Mediterranean by the small Danish cruiser St. Thomas. During the voyage he made a number of small paintings for which lots were drawn among the ship's officers. This one was won by the chief engineer, Gjetting.
