Description
Son of Nicolas Lamoignon de Basville,(1674-1742), magistrate, in the costume of an adviser to the Parliament of Paris; he was a member of the parliament of Languedoc and of the Court of Accounts, Aids and Finances of Montpellier, intendant at the Généralité de Rouen in 1704 then intendant of Guyenne in 1709.
