Deutsch: Vorderseite: AVT KAI Λ CEΠ - CEOVHPO-C ΠEP // IOV ΔOMNA / CEBACTH. Drapierte Panzerbüste des Septimius Severus mit Lorbeerkranz in der Rückenansicht nach r. und drapierte Büste der Iulia Domna in der Brustansicht nach l. einander gegenübergestellt.
Rückseite: EΠI CTPA KΛAVΔIANOV TEPΠANΔPOV // ΠEPΓAMHNωN / B NEOKOPωN. Pergamonaltar. In der Mitte eine gewölbte Giebelarchitektur, beiderseits je ein viersäuliger Portikus, darauf je zwei Statuen, davor unten je ein Standbild eines Stieres auf einer Basis. Kommentar: Bildnis der Iulia Domna im Typus Gabii, der bis ca. 206 n. Chr. in Gebrauch ist. - Die Emission des Claudianus Terpandros besteht aus Großbronzen von medaillonartigem Charakter. Die Serie weist eine Reihe ungewöhnlicher Münzbilder auf, mit denen voller Stolz auf Besonderheiten der Stadt Pergamon hingewiesen wird. Hier findet sich auch die einzige bildliche Darstellung des Monumentalaltars für Zeus und Athena, der von Phlegon von Tralles zu den Weltwundern der Architektur gerechnet wurde. Friese und Architekturproben des Pergamonaltars, die im 19. Jahrhundert durch Carl Humann vor Kalkbrennern gerettet wurden, bilden heute das Kernstück des Berliner Pergamonmuseums.
