Object type painting

Description
The experts at Bruun Rasmussen assumed that this was from church of San Zeno in Verona. It most probably was not. Kornbeck made a larger version of this view in 1872, with more nuns in front, titled Sacristiet i Nonneklostret Monastero Maggiore i Mailand. It was strikingly similar and depicted the interior of the San Maurizio, part of the Monastero Maggiore in Milan. See "other versions".
