Description
English: Several specimens of springtails, Podura aquatica, on the surface of a pool. These animals are only about 1 mm long.
Deutsch: Ansammlung von Schwarzen Wasserspringern Podura aquatica, auf der Oberfläche eines Tümpels. Diese Springschwänze sind kaum länger als 1 mm. (Die helle, wurstförmige Struktur oben rechts – unter Wasser – dürfte wohl eine Kolonie des Gallertigen Moostierchens, Cristatella mucedo, sein. Das Stückchen Pflanze unten rechts gehört zu einem Thallus des Teichlebermooses, Riccia fluitans.)
