Italiano: Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli (inv. nr. 9257). Da Pompeii, Casa dell'Amore punito - Eros punito : il piccolo Eros, piangente, viene ricondotto da un'ancella (forse Peithò, la Persuasione) dalla madre Venere che lo aveva punito perché lui aveva acceso in Marte il desiderio per un'altra donna. Alle spalle di Venere è il fratellino di Eros, Antéros, personificazione dell'amore corrisposto, riconoscibile dalla tenia fra i capelli, che sembra sbeffeggiare il fratello.
