English: Mention on painting's stretcher : «Study of Amacie and Irene de La Grange, whose painting is at Baron de La Grange Louis ». This painting was in possession of Rixens's family until 2010. (Amacie is born on 03/08/1887 in Paris and Irene on 18/11/1888 in Paris)
Français : Mention inscrite sur le châssis du tableau : «Esquisse de Amacie et Irène de La Grange dont le tableau est chez le Baron de La Grange Louis». Œuvre restée en possession de la famille Rixens jusqu’en 2010. (Amacie est née le 03/08/1887 à Paris et Irène le 18/11/1888 à Paris). Le tableau final destiné au Baron a été présenté au Salon du Champ de Mars à Paris en avril 1894 « Exposition Nationale des Beaux-Arts » sous le n° 966.
