Restauration by Baumgartner Fine Art Restauration, 16 nov. 2020, showed on the back of this painting made by Scottish artist Thomas Murray (1663 – 1734) an inscription: "Gen Hamilton". Source Baumgartner's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuckLTljymQ

The castle in the back has the undecorated red flag that preceded the Jacobite flag that is decorated with a diagonal cross in white.
