[edit]DescriptionQuebec from the Chateau - John Richard Coke Smyth.jpg |
English: Quebec from the Chateau. Lithograph, printed in black with beige tint stone, handcoloured with watercolour. From the set Sketches in the Canadas, published originally circa 1840, in London, England. This photographic reproduction is by Denis Chalifour, Musée du Séminaire du Québec. Elements of note on the image are the ruins of the Château Saint-Louis, which had burned in 1834, and the cupola of the building of the Parliament of Canada.
Français : Québec depuis la batterie Demi-Lune «Quebec from the Château», gravure de Coke Smyth tirée de «Sketches in the Canadas».
