Summary

[edit]
Description A ring buffer. You can see the storage segments and positions of read and write pointers. The green segments haven't been read yet, the white segments are empty and the orange segments can be trashed, since they have been read already. Typically, the data is simply overwritten in real world applications, so the orange and white areas are conceptually the same.
