(b. ca. 1420, Firenze, d. 1497, Pistoia) St Fina (on the pillar) 1464-65 Fresco Apsidal chapel, Sant'Agostino, San Gimignano St Fina is only depicted in the area around San Gimignano. Though she died in 1253, aged just 15 years, her short life is said to have been filled with miracles. Despite her poverty she was charitable and had a heroic capacity for suffering. Benozzo has depicted the virgin with her characteristic attribute, the roses.
