Summary

[edit]
Description

Current curve of a resistor in a charging series RC circuit. The vertical axis shows the current across the resistor as a percentage of the applied voltage to the RC circuit. τ represents the RC time constant. Replaces existing PNG image. Created by me using Python and matplotlib. See talk for details.

Note: I hope they get rid of this asinine checkered background soon (it's not part of the image). It makes me wary of using transparency at all.
