Description
Deutsch: Die Stadttafel Nummer "35" unter der einfachen Überschrift "Stadtmauerturm"; der kurzgehaltene Text in deutscher Sprache gibt dem Turm noch keinen eigenen Namen und erwähnt auch Cord Borgentrick nicht. Immerhin wird das Baudatum "um 1310" angeben. Der laut der Tafel im 15. Jahrhundert aufgestockte Turm wurde demnach später von dem Kuhhirten der Aegidienweide bewohnt. Die Tafel war zum Zeitpunkt der - bescheidenen - Aufnahme nicht direkt am Tum angebracht, sondern innerhalb der Volkshochschule an der erhaltenen Stadtmauer nahe der Eingangs-Fensterfront, sodaß der Text auch von außerhalb des Gebäudes gelesen werden kann. Durch diesen Schutz vor Wettereinflüssen dürfte diese Stadttafel zu den besterhaltenen der Stadt zählen.
