Stamp of the Nazi-German "Protektorat Böhmen und Mähren" (= Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia); 1942; "supplement issue" to the definitive serie "Lime leaf and Landscapes"; depicted is the stamp DRBM Michel No. 72B ("A" = more darker color from 1941) with the central motive of a view to "Burg Pernstein" (= German name, Czech: "Pernštejn") in Eastern Moravia. Originally was the name of this castle "Bärenstein" ("Bear stone"). The castle is located on a wooded rock spur at the confluence of the river "Nedvědička" and the little river "Smrčeský potok" near the village of "Nedvědice", Probably was this castle erected in the 13th century and his first owner was "Stephan von Medlov, son of Gothard…" ("...Stephano, viro nobili filio Gotthardi…").; He was already "Royal castle Count" of the castle "Děvrčky" (German: "Maidenburg") in Southern Moravia.
