Description Coat of arms of Westminster Abbey: Attributed arms of King Edward the Confessor on a chief or on a pale the royal arms of King Henry VII between two Tudor roses. Assuming the royal arms are of King Henry VII, the first Tudor king, buried in Westminster Abbey, in the large chapel at the east end he built for himself, clearly a king with great significance for the Abbey. Unlikely to be the arms of his son Henry VIII who dissolved the Abbies.
