Description "Fig. 2. Wappen des Königreichs Griechenland. Der Schild zeigt in Blau ein schwebendes, silbernes Kreuz belegt mit dem Wappenschilde der regierenden Dynastie. (Georg von Holstein-Glücksburg, zweiter Sohn des dänischen Thronfolgers, kam als Georgios I. am 30. März 1863 auf den Hellenischen Thron.) Der Schild ist geviert und mit einem Herzschilde belegt [...]. Der königlich gekrönte Schild wird von dem weiß geränderten, blauen Bande des >>Erlöserordens<<umzogen. Als Schildhalter dienen zwei, auf einem Postament stehende, mit Keulen bewaffnete Herkulesse. (Unter Otto von Bayern, 1832-1862, wurden gekrönte, goldene Löwen als Schildhalter geführt, [...].) Unter dem Postamente erscheint ein blaues Devisenband mit silberner INschrift in griechischen Lettern. Das Gante befindet sich unter einem, mit Hermelin gefütterten, blauen Wappenzelte, das mit silbernen Mäandern gerändert, eine mit silbernen Kreuzchen gemusterte königlich gekrönte Kuppel trägt."
