| Description |
English: Juvenile (teneral) male Red-veined darter dragonfly (Sympetrum fonscolombii). Young females look nearly the same, but note the long appendices at the abdomen tip. Adult males become red-coloured at those parts which are yellow here (abdomen, wing veins).
Deutsch: Frisch geschlüpftes, noch nicht ausgefärbtes Männchen der Frühen Heidelibelle (Sympetrum fonscolombii). Beachte das sehr leuchtende Gelb des Hinterleibs, die recht großen, hellen Flügelmale mit dunklen Rändern, den gelben Fleck der Hinterflügelbasis sowie die unten graublau abgesetzte Augenfärbung. Eigentlich erinnert die Färbung des Tieres eher an ein Weibchen; als (unreifes) Männchen wurde es anhand der langen, zusammenstehenden oberen Hinterleibsanhänge erkannt. Adulte Männchen sind überall dort rot gefärbt, wo hier noch gelb vorherrscht (Abdomen, Flügeläderung). |
