English: Offered for sale by Abbott and Holder in August 2020 when it was described as "‘The Burial of Adam’. Pencil, with some watercolour, study for an (unexecuted) painting in his ‘Adam and Eve’ Series (1898-1901) commissioned by Laurence Hodson for Compton Hall, Wolverhampton. Provenance: Laurence Hodson, and by descent. 10x14.75 inches."
