Summary
[edit]DescriptionUS Presidential Flag Navy 1899.jpg | The Navy's presidential flag, as depicted in 1899. The design was the Great Seal of the United States on a blue field; the flag had just recently been redesigned to better conform with the 1885 update of the Great Seal. The original 1882 flag had an all-white eagle, and had an arc of stars instead of the full crest. The Army had their own presidential flag, starting in 1898, until both were replaced in 1916. |
