Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Field of a positive point charge influenced by a grounded conducting metal sphere. Inside the transparent sphere, a mirror charge is shown, which creates exactly the correct field outside the sphere. This charge does not really exist, as well as the field lines inside the sphere. It just help to calculate the outside field.
