olieverf op doek, h 58cm × b 81cm Meer objectgegevens Gehavende Engelse en Nederlandse schepen liggen in het Goereese Gat na afloop van de onbesliste Vierdaagse Zeeslag (11 tot 14 juni 1666). Vooraan, met het Engelse koninklijke wapen op de spiegel, de buitgemaakte Swiftsure. De spriet, voormast en hoofdmast zijn kapotgeschoten; de Engelse vlag is over de achtersteven gehangen. Helemaal links de Hollandia, het zwaar beschadigde schip van Cornelis Tromp. In the front, with the English royal coat of arms on the stern, the captured Swiftsure. The boom, foremast and main boom have been broken; the English flag is hung over the stern. On the far left is the Hollandia, the heavily damaged ship of Cornelis Tromp. On display in room 2.15 Nederlands: MUSEUM EXPLANATION IN 2014: De veroverde Engelse oorlogsschepen Swiftsure, Seven Oaks, Loyal George en Convertine worden het Goereese Gat binnengebracht na de Vierdaagse Zeeslag, 11-14 juni 1666: episode uit de Tweede Engelse Zeeoorlog. Tal van sloepen varen bij de buitgemaakte schepen, rechts lost een Nederlands schip een salvo. Pendant van SK-A-438.
