The interior is from Bredgade 25 in Copenhage, home of the Hammerhøi family from 1910 to 1913. The lot was part of a pair in the 1975 auction. In 1910, Hammershøi made a slighly larger version of this view, now at Statens Museum for Kunst in Copenhagen. See "Other versions".
