Deutsch: Die Gemeinde Polsingen besteht seit 1978 aus den ehemals selbstständigen Gemeinden Döckingen, Polsingen, Ursheim und Trendel. Das Wappen geht auf die Geschichte der vier Orte ein. Das Andreaskreuz ist dem Wappen von Trendel entnommen und erinnert an die Grafen von Oettingen. Sie hatten die Dorfherrschaft in Trendel inne. Der Hundekopf kommt aus dem Wappen der Herren von See, die von 1100 bis 1518 in Polsingen nachweisbar sind. Die Vierung von Silber und Schwarz weist auf die Markgrafen von Brandenburg-Ansbach hin, die 1517 einen Großteil der Güter der Herren von See erwarben. Sie waren auch der größte Grund- und Gerichtsherr in Döckingen, Polsingen und Ursheim. |
