English: Plant from Xanthium albinum ssp. albinum, growing at the river banks of the Elbe. This subspecies has been developed in Europe; its next relatives are from North America.
Deutsch: Pflanze der Elbe-Spitzklette, Xanthium albinum ssp. albinum, am Spülsaum des Elbe-Ufers. Diese Unterart der Ufer-Spitzklette, die als eingebürgerter Neophyt gilt, ist in Europa entstanden; ihre nächsten Verwandten stammen aus Nordamerika. Typische Stromtalpflanze mit Vorkommen vor allem an der Elbe, aber auch an der Weser.
