The upload of East718 was overwritten by other users. So it now a must to retain the description of this crediting this user as the author of this image? Hindustanilanguage (talk) 10:49, 29 August 2012 (UTC).

- But to answer the question better ... yes, it is, because the newer uploads are just minor touchups, and I'd say that 99% of people wouldn't even be able to tell the difference. - Did East718 actually make this image? That's surprising to me because I read that the Awesome Face / Epic Smiley was made from a different source. Excerpt from the 'Know Your Meme' article:
