I would like to request this file to be overwritten with this file, File:BlankMap-World-with-Circles 17 April 2024.svg. The reason for the requested change is that the current versions layers automatically show Crimea, Taiwan and Western Sahara as parts of Russia, China and Morocco, respectively. Despite the territories being internationally recognized as independent or occupied territories. In the requested file, the layer issues have been fixed. Thanks. There's also the question of whether Karabakh should be included, given that it's now defunct and not recognized by either side. How long after a territory ceases to exist do we want to support it for illustrative purposes? Kwamikagami (talk) 02:58, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
