Please rename this picture because it shows not the Guadalupe Caracara --Melly42 (talk) 06:54, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

{{rename|Caracara plancus}}

I moved the rename template to the talkpage to have this discussed, the rename request is also incomplete as the target is not a filename. The source of this image is Brehms Tierleben, Allgemeine Kunde des Tierreichs. Band 6., 1892, S. 411. The source describes it as Carancho (Polyborus brasiliensis) - thats the former description, according to w:de:Liste der Vögel in The Zoology of the Voyage of H.M.S. Beagle now it is Caracara plancus. Is there a naming convention for Brehms Tierleben files? --Martin H. (talk) 12:22, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
From the looks of Category:Brehms Tierleben, I would say no. As the rename tag is incomplete and has been sitting since Sept. 2009, I am going to disable it. :) Feel free to re-activate if needed. sısɐuuǝɔıʌ∀ (diskuto) 21:26, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
