Incorrect Tudor crown pattern

[edit]

I'm afraid this image has the wrong heraldic crown. This depicts the 2022 pattern Tudor crown, not the 1901 pattern (both below).

There are several noticeable differences between the 1901 and the 2022 patterns: the 2022 pattern has a plain rim and larger jewels, cross and ermine. In addition to being larger, the jewels are also of different shapes to the 1901 pattern: the central sapphire and the outer rubies are of a rhombus shape rather than oblong.[1][2]
