really Hafnium?

On German Wikipedia the discussion started wether this is really Hafnium: de:Diskussion:Hafnium#Abbildung Hafnium im Artikel - compare [1] [2] As the link to the image source is broken we can't check if someone confused image titles on the gallery webpage. Maybe someone knows how to find the USGS source to find out. --Matt 05:51, 21 May 2008 (UTC)

- Found a link at the internet archive which shows the uploader did not confuse anything. Matt (talk) 13:29, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
- This sample can never be a hafnium sample. It is typical for germanium like this. The conchoidal fractures are typical for Germanium, not for hafnium. Hafnium isn't brittle. --Alchemist-hp (talk) 08:09, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
