If you look at the source website, it gives the title as Piłsudski na Kasztance.

You must include the U.S. copyright status. Commons policy requires the copyright status in the U.S. and the source country be provided, but public domain status in the U.S. is what's absolutely required, because Commons is hosted on U.S. servers. —innotata 22:22, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

And that's the title, besides ref added. I can agree to change the licence to comply with US requirements, although is seems quite strange to me that the present license cannot be considered as fulfilling those requirements if official position taken by the Wikimedia Foundation is that "faithful reproductions of two-dimensional public domain works of art are public domain". Sorry, I didn't notice the referenced source. The gallery differs, and it isn't normal in English or Polish to put a horse's name in quotes.
The PD-art template doesn't explain why the original artwork is public domain, just that if it is photos are not copyright. —innotata 14:26, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
